Kathleen, Nairobi Kenya(citizen of Cameroun)
Born Kathleen Keumbou Ndongmo 28 years ago in Cameroun, this unique young lady is built with the sort of charisma one can hardly find in a typical African woman. She’s more at home with the guys, because she believes that women trivialize issues a lot, and often condescend to whining about their concerns instead of confronting them boldly. She is a Programme Officer working in ICT for sustainable development. Kathleen studied Journalism ans Mass Communication at the University of Beau, Cameroon and a Masters’ degree in Television Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, UK. She believes that, “there’s no difficult person-not even one-it’s just people we have difficulties with”. Kathleen never backs down in the face of adversity, with her quick wits; she comes on as a lady with very strong opinions. Many consider her as being arrogant, but to her, if ‘speaking up’ means being labeled arrogant-then let their labels stick. She’s a woman who brings balance and bluntness to her team. She comes to The Apprentice Africa with the belief that being just a ‘participant’ is not an option-so she’s armed with a ‘winning’ spirit that does not necessarily rely on a dog-eat-dog attitude.
