The tasks are easily the focal point of The Apprentice Africa franchise. Seeing as this is a giant job interview, what is most important to the CEO is to find that Apprentice with the abilities and skills that are needed to excel at the top and to enable him step firmly into the shoes that the CEO will be leaving.

To enable the show establish that one contestant with these abilities, the tasks are designed to test and to try, towards an ultimate discovery of which of the contestants best typifies grit, intelligence, brilliance and streetsmarts.

17 tasks will be developed to showcase emerging sectors in the African economy such as

* Telecommunications,
* Banking,
* Aviation,
* Hospitality,
* Tourism etc.

* Distribution & Supply Chain Management
* Corporate Social Responsibility & Public Relations
* Leadership, Innovation & Competition
* Marketing Campaigns & Corporate Image

The beauty of the tasks Tasks from “The Apprentice” Task Bible will be adapted to our local environment in conjunction with the brand marketing teams. Whilst they will possess and maintain the general global outlook that defines The Apprentice Africa, the dominant threads from the tasks will reflect the African way and the path that we are charting for ourselves financially and socio-economically – seeing as that is the path to true strenght.

As the producers of the show have explained, this is a show that ultimately guides the rest of the world for doing business in Africa understanding the terrain, identifying the opportunities and ultimately exploring the possibilities that abound in the continent.

The contestants will deal with real-life Nigerian situations, in Nigeria’s real time corporate environment, facing actual challenges, on the streets and boardrooms of the country. Situations that will bring out the best in them.
